Beyond the relationship with the world of art, this narrative leads us to think about the limits of fiction and its mechanisms. What is language capable of? What are the boundaries of the merely plausible and, more profoundly, what is reality?

A cosmopolite artist who knew Andy Warhol and lived in New York at the same time as Basquiat, and who became one of the iconic artists of that era, never received any recognition in his own country. Now that he has been rediscovered by art critics, they try to fix this huge fault by setting up a retrospective exhibition of his works. And, well… it’s all contained in this book, which is both a life story and an art gallery.
