In this multifaceted book, the life of an enigmatic woman — torn between religiosity and a radical artistic practice — intertwines with that of her uncle, frequently in rehab for his addiction to alcohol, and that of her son, who, like her, grapples with an improper exposure on the internet.
In this plot, filled with complexities and reflections, Thiago Souza de Souza approaches burning issues in a unique way, steering clear of easy judgments. A delicate novel about how our lives are also shaped by the mistakes we make.

Thiago Souza de Souza made his literary debut with Jamais serei seu filho e você sempre será meu pai (Taverna, 2021), a finalist for the São Paulo Literary Prize, named Book of the Year by the Jacarandá Prize, and awarded by Correio do Povo. He lives in Porto Alegre and is pursuing a master’s degree in Creative Writing at UFRGS. Do teu fantasma vejo só o coração is his second novel.
